What is 4neXt EasyLogXL?

EasyLogXL is a powerful Modbus datalogger that enables seamless integration with Modbus RTU and TCP devices—no programming required. Configuration can be done remotely via our VISUALYS IIoT platform, with secure data transmission through FTP, MQTT, and HTTP REST.

The integrated web server allows quick setup and visualization of variables, data storage on a micro SD card, and cloud transmission. Each Modbus configuration can be saved in device libraries for easy reuse, significantly speeding up future installations.

With advanced security features like TLS and MQTT certificate management, EasyLogXL is ideal for applications like energy monitoring, metering, water treatment, and process control.

No additional software is needed for configuration—everything is managed directly through the web server, including variable settings, sampling rates (from 1 second to 1 hour), and data formatting (CSV or JSON). Variables can also be mirrored to a remote Modbus TCP server, making it perfect for SCADA systems and advanced monitoring solutions.

Our IIoT gateways are perfectly matched to the VISUALYS IIoT platform. EasyLogXL is the ideal solution if you want to add a data connection to existing VPN routers, such as an Ewon Cosy. In this case, your existing VPN router acts as a gateway to the Internet, while EasyLogXL collects your data via Modbus TCP and RTU and reliably transfers it to the VISUALYS IIoT platform.

But the best thing is: EasyLogXL can be easily configured via the VISUALYS IIoT platform. The devices are delivered pre-configured so that you only need to define and create your variables in the platform. The configuration is transferred to your EasyLogXL within seconds – and the system is ready for use.
